About Fraley Masonry
Fraley Masonry was started in 1991 by Ed Fraley when he fell in love with Centurion Stone. Ed was a long-time stone mason who immediately recognized the benefits in manufactured stone, a completely new product category to the Ozarks. He invested all he had into the required, minimum purchase of a semi truck of stone from the manufacturer. Initially, Ed had to prove the validity of manufactured stone, specifically Centurion Stone, to builders and masons who were unfamiliar with the product. By doing almost all the installation in-house at first, the small company was able to secure a quality reputation and distinctive look for Centurion Stone that carries through today. Since the humble beginning, Fraley Masonry has grown to be one of Centurion’s largest dealers in the US.
Ed and wife, Patricia Fraley, transitioned the business to their son, Lee Fraley’s, leadership in 2001. Lee continued the progress by moving the business from Rogersville to the current location in Ozark, adding masonry supplies, and revving up sales with an outside sales force. In 2008, John Ruder was brought on as a partner to help Fraley Masonry reach its full potential. John brought with him 23 years of experience as a Walmart Store Manager and has become the main contact in the office. Justin Shockley, who was with the company at the start, also became a partner and recently took on the challenge of growing the northwest Arkansas office while still staying involved in the Ozark installation business.
The company product line has morphed way beyond Centurion stone. We proudly offer real stone product lines, concrete accessories, outdoor living designs, and Belgard Pavers. We owe our success to loyal builders, fellow subcontractors, and wonderful customers. For most of Fraley Masonry’s existence, our only advertising was word of mouth. Thank you to all who have helped us over the years.
